Hi
I’ve just bought acai berry and colon cleanse tablets from holland & barrett (not from one of those risk-free trial things!) i started using them last friday but havent really noticed much of a difference yet, has anyone else used these products together, if so how long do u think it’ll take for my body to react to them? Thanks :)

They are no better than fresh berries from your local store – in fact the fresh ones are more beneficial.
They tell you to diet and take exercise, this does the work, not the wretched acai.
As forcolon cleanse, the colon is self cleansing. Waste of money.

Think I could do with these, thank you, you have answered some of my question I just put on here. Don’t these things usually take a good few days to make any difference. Good luck. :)References :

The only benefit is likely to be to the bank balance of the place that sold them to you.

I’m not convinced, to be honest. Finish that pack and see what happens. If nothing happens – don’t buy it again :)

EDIT: Just checked it out a bit more, and none of the claims they make are actually verified. See the Wikipedia link below, and put your money back in your bag; go spend it on a new dress or something :)References :

The only benefit is money to the people marketing and selling them. Its the age old snake oil scam dressed up in a different package.References :

Don’t bother with them. it’s all hype. people have managed without that sort of thing for years. There will always be something new to kid you on with. they’re just after your money. Anyone who says it works are in cloud cuckoo land.Your colon will be OK. it’s the same with the bottled water thing, firstly how do you know it isn’t from a tap, and again people have been fine up to now without it.

The Acai Berry doesn’t work and most people gain weight, the colon cleanse just helps clean you out. Running, walking, jogging and eating good will help with the colon cleanse. You’ll cut weight faster.References :

You have gone for a very good combination of products here. The acai berry is a ‘superfood’ that acts like a multivitamin. So the longer you take it the greater the build up of vitamins and antioxidants and then you should start seeing the benefits. So give it a bit longer and make sure your taking them everyday. It also might be that the strength isnt very high. Check the amount of milligrams of actual acai is in the capsule. The capsule might be 500mg but the amount of acai is only 50mg. These guys say they have one of the purest forms of acai on the market )

Colon cleansers are important to take when you want to start a diet, lose weight, or start a healthy lifestyle. Your digestive tract can become blocked or stop working as efficiently as it should. This hinders any weight loss goals. A colon cleanse helps to detox your body and get it working at its prime again. They say you should do a colon cleanse at least twice a year. There are a number of different products on the market but I believe the norm is a product you take for about a week. So once again I say give it a bit longer. I remember seeing a colon cleanse on that website as well, not sure how good it is.References :
