Dr. Perricone names the Acai berry as the #1 superfood in the world. Endorsements are fine, but we wanted to know why is the Acai berry good for you.
Antioxidants and Anthocyanins
First, the Acai berry contains incredibly high levels of antioxidants and anthocyanins to eliminate free radicals in our system caused by stress. Acai had 10x the antioxidants of grapes and 10 to 30 times the anthocyanins of red wine.
