How To Do A Weight Loss Cleanse

Posted by Cindy Papp on Friday 14 May 2010

A weight loss cleanse is more effective than a strict diet that can utilize much of your time and energy. At the same time, cleansing helps clear built up toxins from your body which may be stored in and around fat cells and it can help reset your metabolism. While cleansing, you can learn what foods make you feel sick and tired and what foods give you more energy.

A weight loss cleanse can be easy and help keep your life simple. It’s easier than counting calories – in fact when you learn these simple steps, you no longer have to analyze labels. You will also learn that eating healthy can give you the energy along with the metabolism needed to help you keep the weight off for good.

Step 1 – Quit all junk food. We all know what they are; chips, sodas, fat food (I mean fast food), candies and so on. Junk foods not only add weight, but eating them can literally stop your body from losing weight! They may also contain chemicals such as preservatives or dyes that can be stored in fatty areas of the body causing you to hold on to weight and they can even interfere with thyroid function.

Step 2 – Try to avoid all processed foods. These are foods that are pre-made or packaged with the intent of saving time in the kitchen. A reality check might prove that this does not have to be true. In fact, you can chop vegetables for about 4 days worth of salad and keep it in your refrigerator. When you’re ready to eat, simple grab a handful. This is quicker than opening and heating a can of soup. If you do eat packaged foods, buy it at your local health food store. These can be healthier if they use organic ingredients and less chemicals for processing. Check the label – the less ingredients it has, the healthier the food is – which is important for a weight loss cleanse.

Step 3 – Eat mainly whole, fresh foods, especially fruits and vegetables. Also eat proteins such as chicken or fish, without preservatives or processing. Then add 1/2 serving of whole grains to your meal such as wild rice. Fill your plate before you eat, with 1/2 to 3/4 full of vegetables. Keep protein the size of your palm. Any of these foods should not have labels, as they are in their natural state. If you add sauces, use only a minimal amount and try to use organic if possible. Drink only fresh, spring water and herbal teas.

Step 4 – Take fiber twice a day. Use a supplement such as crushed flax seeds or psyllium. These types of fiber can help absorb toxins from your intestinal tract and add bulk to help remove more waste. Taking fiber 10-15 minutes before your meals can help you feel fuller, sooner.

Step 5 – During your weight loss cleanse, supplement your nutrition by adding whole food supplements to your daily regimen. This should include a whole food vitamin so you are sure to get all your vitamins and minerals. Using a product that is made from “whole foods” as opposed to the synthetic version will ensure your body uses most of the nutrients without causing toxic side-effects. Also take EFA’s or Essential Fatty Acids. This supplement supplies oils that your body needs to keep joints mobile, skin and hair healthy, balance your hormones, are necessary for proper brain function for healthy moods – and they help you lose weight!

Step 6 – Daily exercise using circuit training can help burn more fat, more calories and make your exercise more effective. Exercising is known to stimulate metabolism, stimulate circulation, clear toxins, elevate mood and help you eliminate excess waste and shed weight.

Try circuit training at home by alternating aerobic type exercise with resistance exercise. You can do this without special equipment, if you choose. Put on some music to help set the tone and choose resistance exercise you want to do which may include push-ups, squats and lunges. Choose four to six exercises with a goal of performing three sets of each. Do a set of resistance exercise (say 12 squats) followed by one minute of aerobic exercise. You can jump rope, use an exercise bike if you have one, or even use a rebounder. Follow this by another set of resistance and then another minute of aerobics. Continue this way until you exercise for a total of 30-40 minutes.

Write out these six steps and post them where you will read them every day. Don’t eat in restaurants for now and instead, collect recipes for whole foods. You can find many free ones on the net! Use a weight loss cleanse so you can be summer-ready with a healthier body and mind.

Body Cleanse And Lose Weight

Posted by Cindy Papp on Thursday 6 May 2010

A body cleanse can help you lose weight, gain more energy and may even help you overcome a health issue. And you can really lose weight if you know how to turn your cleanse into a weight loss detox.

Scientific studies are proving that our bodies do store toxins and chemicals in fatty tissue. These may be from pesticides or environmental and industrial pollution including runoff into our drinking water, plastics, and more. In fact, research is finding buildup in babies’ blood before they are even born. As science finds more evidence that these toxins can account for unexplained weight gain, many more people are considering a weight loss detox as a new solution.

Pollutants from industrial chemicals and other toxins affect us in many ways. Doctors and scientists are becoming more aware that some even mimic hormones and cause genetic alterations. Some toxins are linked to Parkinson’s disease and others to thyroid malfunction. Most are degenerative disease which may not show up for years.

On top of all this, your body also stores waste. When you eat too many junk foods or overeat, your body cannot eliminate the excess fat and calories. Instead, it becomes overwhelmed and burdened and cannot do what it should do. So, your body stores the excess as extra weight and fat.

Even though they are microscopic, we absorb or consume man-made toxins every day while eating or even breathing. This can put excess burden on your liver causing it to not do it’s job fully. This makes a difference if you are trying to lose weight since one function of the liver is to metabolize fat.

A weight loss detox can enhance your body’s ability to lose this excess waste and lose weight. Don’t wait for research to tell you what you already know, or a new drug will help you. Use some simple guidelines, common sense and help yourself with the cleansing process.

Start by cleansing your colon to ensure your main organ of elimination is working fully and not sluggish. This can be as easy as using a colon cleansing diet. Replace junk foods and processed foods with fresh, organic vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. In addition drink 6-8 glasses of fresh, spring water. Add a colon cleansing supplement to help your body remove excess waste.

Enhance your body cleanse by taking herbs, foods and supplements known to attract and help remove stored toxins and waste. These can include NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine), green superfoods and herbs such as cilantro and chlorella.

Treat yourself during your weight loss detox. Use body therapies such as massage, bodywraps, dry heat saunas and even Endermologie. These can help you feel and look good and even lose inches in the process.

Look younger, leaner, healthier with a weight loss cleanse. For those who are intent on losing fat now, check out the fat loss cleanseand get started right away to a sexy, healthy body. Get a totally unique version of this article from our article submission service

Healthy Weight Loss Cleanse

Posted by Cindy Papp on Friday 16 April 2010

Using a healthy weight loss cleanse can jump start your metabolism and help you keep the weight off after you lose it. A healthy cleansing diet can help raise metabolism and keep it stimulated. Cleansing supplements will help eliminate built up waste that can store as excess weight and even cause you to have a difficult time losing it.

A cleansing diet used in a weight loss cleanse, helps your body in two ways. First the right foods add nutrients that are important for your cleansing organs. This might sound boring, but you need these organs fully working. Excess fat and weight are waste that needs to be cleansed or eliminated from your body. What is not cleansed is stored as waste, (fat and extra weight) and when this happens we claim to have a sluggish metabolism. Eating the right foods are essential for your body to get rid of waste properly and achieve weight loss.

A cleansing diet is also easy to digest. This is another way it is beneficial. Since good digestion is essential to speedier metabolism, then eating foods that aid digestion can also aid metabolism.

A food program for cleansing should use plenty of fresh, raw vegetables and fruits. These are full of enzymes which help your body’s natural digestion and metabolism. You should also be guided to some form of basic food combining, which is also easy on your digestion. All of this contributes to your body digesting foods more efficiently without storing excess.

One simple outline is to eat raw fruit in the morning without any other foods. Then eat a raw, vegetable-only salad before lunch and dinner. This helps your body get ready to digest the rest of the meal that is about to come.

And last but very important, do not overeat. Overeating taxes digestion making it harder to break down food and eliminate waste. The amount for optimal digestion does follow this basic rule: Eat proteins in a serving the size of your palm – no more; eat 1 cup or starches or grains (such as rice, barley, millet, etc.); and 2-3 cups of vegetables for each meal.

Cleansing supplements help break down waste that can accumulate. This excess waste can be stored as extra weight and fat. Using fibers found in cleansing supplements will help break this down quicker for more noticeable results during your weight loss cleanse. This is important for helping you raise the second stage of metabolism – how well your body eliminates waste. Even if you think your system is efficient, think of this, an efficient system will eliminate waste, not store it as excess weight.

4 Tips for a Weight Loss Detox

Posted by Cindy Papp on Sunday 4 April 2010

Many people are anxious because summer is just around the corner. If you have tried weight loss programs in the past without success, you may need a new solution. A weight loss detox may be your answer.

There are common problems that many of us have when it comes to losing weight. These include; fatigue, cravings, not enough time to make the required meals and even fatigue. Using some techniques found in a weight loss detox might help you stick to your program.

Information about a weight loss detox may be hard to come by. Most of the information available is generic or involves supplements. So here are four tips that can help you get and stay on a healthy, weight loss detox.

Tip 1 – The first step is to find healthy replacements for fatty, unhealthy foods. This should be done in two steps. Firstly, find replacement foods for any fattening, unhealthy foods that may tempt you. Secondly, find restaurants in your area with healthy versions of unhealthy foods that fast food restaurants tempt you with.

If certain foods are hard for you to resist because they are comforting, they are convenient or they just taste good, and you know these foods can sabotage your efforts, have healthy replacement foods in your arsenal. For example, if brownies are your temptation, find a version that contains less sugar, lower fat, and is packaged in a portion to make it easier to control the portion you eat. Have it ready at home so when temptation hits, you can grab that instead of a deal breaker.

Oftentimes, fast food restaurants are an alternative to home cooked meals because they are convenient when you just don’t feel like cooking. You may know the story; you tell yourself you’ll buy the salad but by the time you get to the counter the fries smelled so much better. You figure, next time I’ll eat healthy. Well, you can learn to avoid this temptation.

Many restaurants offer healthy versions of favorite fast foods. Map these out in your area and find which ones are by your work, on your way home from work or by your home. Some of these restaurants may replace fatty refried beans with a leaner, black bean alternative. You may also find a lean hamburger that leaves the bread off and instead wraps your burger in a fresh, green lettuce leaf.

Nowadays many health food stores have sandwich counters, lunch counters, delis or even small restaurants that offer healthy, quick meal choices. Some stores have salad bars or food bars and tables or a patio area to dine in. Find these restaurants and keep a list of them so you know where to go when you are short on time or too tired to cook. These types of businesses are less likely to tempt you with unhealthy food for that little extra profit.

Tip 2 – Drink only drinks that help your weight loss detox. Avoid diet sodas and diet drinks that are empty calories. In fact, some health professionals believe these diet drinks are unhealthy and can make it harder for you to lose weight. Here are some better and healthier drinks.

Fresh grapefruit juice has long been an excellent juice for any weight loss program. It contains fat burning enzymes. Cranberry juice has been known to help your body eliminate fatty waste. Green tea has been shown to help dieters lose abdominal fat quicker than dieters who do not drink it. Some consider it to be an appetite suppressant. And lastly, warm lemon water adds much needed vitamin C while helping your body move excess waste out of your system.

Tip 3 – Eat a salad before lunch and dinner. Be sure this salad is green with a couple other vegetables on it. If you decide to use a dressing that you know is fattening, water is down to use less. This will cover more of your salad with while using less. Be sure to eat your salad before the meal.

Eating a fresh salad before your meal can stimulate digestion, preparing it for your main course. This is important to strong metabolism since how well you break down, or digest, food contributes to how fast your metabolism works. In addition, eating your salad before a meal can help you stick to eating proper portions of proteins and starches.

Tip 4 – Take an Essential Fatty Acid supplement. Most of us do not get the required amount of EFA’s in our diet. This nutrient is important since it helps curb appetite, and some studies show that they actually help your body shed excess weight. Essential fatty acids are also important for heart health and proper brain function. These are both very important to helping you stay on your weight loss program.

A healthy weight loss detox may by your answer. If you are looking for a new solution to a new and healthier you, do your research and learn more about this type of program.

4 Tips for a Weight Loss Detox

Posted by Cindy Papp on Friday 2 April 2010

If there are foods that you find hard to resist because they taste good, are comfort foods or just plain convenient and you know these foods are bad for you, get your replacements ready. For example if ice cream is your desire, find a low-fat, low-sugar frozen yogurt. Buy it and have it ready in your freezer for those times of weakness.

Many of us like fast food restaurants in place of cooking our own meals. They are convenient and sometimes just what we feel we need after a long day of work. Many of us have been through this following scenario, over and over. We go to the fast food restaurant with good intentions to order off the “healthy menu.” But the smell of fries and burgers makes us cave so we figure, just this one last time. You can beat this kind of temptation and order right.

Find the healthier restaurants in the same area, on your way home from work, or conveniently located close to your home. There are fast food restaurants that offer hamburgers using green, leafy, lettuce wrapping for your burger rather than starchy bread that turns to glucose immediately in your bloodstream. Some restaurants offer lean, protein-laden black beans instead of beans fried in lard.

Some health food stores offer salad bars, lunch or sandwich counters. Many include tables inside or a patio area for dining. Seek out the restaurants that have convenient, fast yet healthy choices. Knowing about these restaurants will help you when you are tired or short on time. In addition, they may not tempt you with the smell of fried foods that will sabotage your weight loss detox.

Tip 2 – Consume drinks that contribute to a weight loss detox. Skip the diet sodas and drinks since they do not contribute to goals at all. Some diet gurus even tell their clients they can make you fatter! Read on for some better liquid choices.

Warm lemon water has long been used to help the body flush waste, including excess fat. Green tea has been used to help curb appetite as well as help your body lose belly fat quicker. And it is one of the most well-known cancer fighters available. Fresh grapefruit juice and cranberry juice (unsweetened, of course) both have fat burning enzymes and help with weight loss programs.

Tip 3 – Have a green salad before your noon and evening meals. You can add a couple other vegetables, but avoid croutons or crackers. If you use a dressing that contains buttermilk or other unhealthy fat, dilute it with water. This will allow you to use less while covering more of your salad. And be sure to eat your salad before your meal.

Tip 4 – Take an essential fatty acid supplement, also known as EFA’s. Most people need more of this essential nutrient in their daily diet, and it seems to be especially helpful during weight loss. Studies show that they actually help dieters lose more weight and may even help control appetite. Essential fatty acids also are known to be important for healthy heart and brain function. All of these factors help you stay healthy on a weight loss program.

A healthy weight loss detox may by your answer. If you are looking for a new solution to a new and healthier you, do your research and learn more about this type of program.
