Besides processed foods and sugars, what else must I avoid while cleansing?
I recently purchased a colon/intestinal cleansing supplement that got great reviews online. I know that you're supposed to avoid processed food and sugars while cleansing, but I've also recently read that you're supposed to avoid wheat and dairy foods as well. Is this true? Is it a must, or a word of caution? I just want to make sure that I do it right if I'm going to do it.
The supplement did not come with information on what to eat while taking it.
Yes, I just did a cleanse. Avoid wheat, dairy, all meat except fish. It won't hurt you if you eat any of these things but avoiding them makes the cleanse more effective. Also, eat lighter while doing it, lots of fresh food (fruits and veggies). Not big servings. And drink lots of water.

Actually, I just went there and its not very helpful but I have the instructions from my cleanse. Here's what it says:
Diet suggestions:
Fresh fruit and veggies
Fish
chicken and turkey
eggs
well cooked grain-millet, buckwheat, amaranth, quiona, spelt
Pasta made from any of the above grains
butter
raw almonds and seeds, raw almond butter
drink 8-10 glasses of water a day
