Aside from clearing a blockage, which it doesn't sound like you have, the only real medical reason for cleaning out down there is if you are about to have a colonoscopy. In that case they recommend you drink oral saline laxative and plenty of water. Exactly what folks are cleaning themselves of other then their money I am not sure.
