What advantage does a colon cleanse have over a fleets?
I ‘m going to have a colonoscopy soon. I will have to use fleets to clear my colon before the procedure. I was going to do a colon cleanse to improve the view for the procedure. However, the GNC rep I talked to said he didn’t know why people didn’t do a fleets every once in a while instead of a colon cleanse.
A Fleet’s only cleans the lower bowel. A colon cleanse cleans everything from the top to the bottom and offers the Gastroenterologist a much better view. Colon cleanse diet is very important for everyone to prevent colon cancer, visit this site

If a fleets is all you’re going to use, then you won’t be cleaned out properly. Most, if not all doctors also prescribe an oral solution like GoLytely or MagCitrate in order to cleanse the entire colon. Both are good for short term cleansing and should not be used more often than a doctor prescribes.
All colon medications can be dangerous. Many imbalance your electrolytes, and all may make you dependent on them. Even the so-called "natural" colon cleansing products can be dangerous.
Good luck with your colonoscopy. Is it your first? If so, remember to bring someone to drive you home, and some panty liners, just in case.References :

I have had a colonoscopy and besides the
Fleets you will asked to drink a gallon of horrid tasting liquid and also to refrain from eating solids the day before the procedure.
In essences, it was a total colon cleanse and I never noticed any benefit at all except sitting on the pot A LOT.
There is absolutely no solid evidence of any benefit from having wverything out of your colon.
Friendly bacteria live there so why flush them out? Eating a fiber rich diet scoots everything else along and out so what is the point?
And an enema when you don’t need it is just a waste of time and money.References :
