What is the best colon cleanse product out there that won’t brake the bank and that really works?
A friend mentioned to me that she had tried several different ones and lost a few pounds plus had more energy. That’s great. But I don’t want to go through a bunch of wasted time, money, and useless products until I get it right. Is there a product that really works and that is affordable? Or is there a way to make your own cleanser with herbs and such? Thanks to all answers in advance.
Hey Jeanie! Cleansing and detoxing can be tricky… And there are definitely a lot of scams out there! I found this site http://www.detoxreviews.com/ that reviews a lot of the top products out there. Hopefully it will be helpful for you.

Colon cleansing seems from my research to be B.S. The colon generally does a good enough job of cleansing itself.
If you have just gotten off of an antibiotic treatment, you may wish to try and repopulate your gut microflora. Do this with a variety of lacto-fermented or traditionally fermented dairy and vegetables, such as kefir, yogurt, cultured butter, artisan cheese (not Velveeta and the like), saurkraut, kimchee, pickles, and many more, which would be wise to consume on a regular basis regardless of your current state of health.
Saurkraut and pickles at the store are not generally traditionally made and do not contain the same degree of probiotics, but they are pretty darned easy to make at home. Refer to reference, but all kraut usually entails is shredding, sprinkling with ample sea salt (about 2 tbsp./quart), pounding lightly to release juices (can be done within glass jar, but be careful), pressing down into jar, and ensuring that the cabbage is submerged in the juices (or adding some to water to cover if it is not). Pickles about the same way – pack fresh pickles into quart jar, add garlic cloves if desired, some dill (fresh preferably), cover with water and add 2 tbsp. sea salt. The salt should be dissolved. These techniques can be used for a wide variety of vegetables (and fruits!).
Otherwise, eat plenty of fresh produce and you’ll have more than enough bulk to keep digestion moving and your colon "clean" without any potentially risky procedures like colonics or ingesting laxatives like cascara sagrada herb.References : http://www.thebsdetective.com/2010/…/bullsht-of-day-colon-cleansing.html

I’m not sure about those things as I hear many negative things about colon cleansing. I recommend you research thoroughly because this is your body involve. I personally hate taking any kind of pills.
So the other day, I was surfing online for my boyfriend. He had some issue going to the bathroom, and I didn’t realize it can also help lose weight.
Apparently, colon cleansing — also called colonic irrigation — removes these toxins, thus promoting healthy intestinal bacteria, boosting your energy and enhancing your immune system.
One concern though that I read is that with colon cleansing, it can increase your risk of dehydration. It is not recommended to people with kidney disease or heart disease.
If you choose to do colon cleansing, just be cautious and ask your doctor what he/she thinks. Hope that helps. Good luck!References : – Check out this site & learn more about colon cleanse.

There are a lot of detox and cleansing items to choose from in the market, but which ones will be most effective depends a lot on your body type and experience level. For people who have not done a cleanse before, the beginner level products from Garden of Life and Renew Life are often gentle yet effective for body systems.
