What is the best way or product to cleanse your colon?

Posted by admin on Sunday 17 May 2009

I tried an enima but it didn’t really work. I want to clean out my colon so that the poop is gone and i’m not bloated anymore. I never poop. WHat are some good colon cleanse products that are reasobaly priced? I heard drinking only water and juices for a couple days can do it.

You can’t “cleanse” your colon, and products and services that claim they do are largely scams. I would suggest you see a doctor – perhaps you have a gluten intolerance or similar.

You want to actually balance it, so that you are pooing once a day (which is the normal amount).

fennel, cascara segrada, things like that should help. (stay away from senna for long term things, that gets the bowel muscles to not work like they’re supposed to)

    and yes, keep hydrated!References :

Eat lots of licorice and drink lots of fruit juice and nothing else. It will work.References :

You can try drinking water and fruit juices. You can also eat foods that are rich in fiber – fruits and vegetables.References : student nurse

colon cleanse. you can buy at walmart for like 5 dollars, it works everytime garaunteed and its natural, it doesn’t make you feel like running 70 miles an hour to the nearest bathroom, unlike those pharmaceutical grade colon cleansers, (agh!) also the average fiber intake is 24-30 grams of fiber every day, so, eating pop-corn (i get mine at big lots, its cheaper than walmart), fruits, applesauce, and double fiber bread(1.88 at walmart) will take care of that easily..and they’re nice and tasty, so you can eat em all together, oh! and beans, any kind of bean is very good if you need fiber! and you can try to get free samples of Benefiber if they are still giving them out. Here’s the link for that.

Do not use any products other than what your doctor prescribes. I can assure you that most, if not all, colon cleansing products are snake oil (scams to make money). The other home remedies for constipation or colon cleansing are usually worthless as well, with the exception of what I list below.

If you are never having a bowel movement, you'd be in serious health trouble right now. I'm guessing you're just a little constipated, and that can be fixed by adding more fiber to your diet, drinking more water, and getting more exercise. You can also try an over-the-counter laxative.

If you truly have a bowel problem (they do happen sometimes), you must see a doctor right away for treatment. Impacted bowels and other colon disorders are serious medical problems that require medical attention, so don't screw around with the "all natural wonder cures for everything under the sun."References :
