    You don’t necessarily have to take protein with milk. I prefer to use water instead, I find milk makes the protein too thick for myself to swallow, so I grunge my teeth and try to overcome the flavorless drink into my digestive system. Afterward you don’t even notice the taste. Just an idea since I noticed you have allergies to milk

    Interesting vid, just one thing which I hope you can answer, you say to put whey protein with a banana, which is protein and carbs, but doesnt your body secrete acid to digest the protein and alkaline to digest the carbs, eating those two together wouldnt the acid and alkaline neutrilize one another resukting in slower and poorer digestion? would appreciate if anyone could clarify this.     apparently u guys didnt pay attention. chicken and rice isnt fine for that 2 hour window because ur body wont be able to digest it within that time frame. the digestive system is very vascular and doesn’t have the blood supply to digest that food quickly enough for ur muscles to begin recovery.

    The rice is slow …
    The rice is slow acting, and both are hardy solids. Liquids are absorbed much, much faster and should constitute your immediate post workout meal (i.e. within 20mins). Whey and bannana are perfect for this.

    But as for that 2 hour window, chicken and brown rice should be fine for that.
