Healthy Weight Loss Cleanse

Using a healthy weight loss cleanse can jump start your metabolism and help you keep the weight off after you lose it. A healthy cleansing diet can help raise metabolism and keep it stimulated. A food program for cleansing should use plenty of fresh, raw vegetables and fruits. These are full of enzymes which help your body’s natural digestion and metabolism. You should also be guided to some form of basic food combining, which is also easy on your digestion. All of this contributes to your body digesting foods more efficiently without storing excess.

One simple outline is to eat raw fruit in the morning without any other foods. Then eat a raw, vegetable-only salad before lunch and dinner. This helps your body get ready to digest the rest of the meal that is about to come.

And last but very important, do not overeat. Overeating taxes digestion making it harder to break down food and eliminate waste. The amount for optimal digestion does follow this basic rule: Eat proteins in a serving the size of your palm – no more; eat 1 cup or starches or grains (such as rice, barley, millet, etc.); and 2-3 cups of vegetables for each meal.

Cleansing supplements help break down waste that can accumulate. This excess waste can be stored as extra weight and fat. Using fibers found in cleansing supplements will help break this down quicker for more noticeable results during your weight loss cleanse. This is important for helping you raise the second stage of metabolism – how well your body eliminates waste.
